summer- Warmer weather means more cold menu items and in-season fruit and vegetables, we often eat vegetables right from our own garden!

 

Winter- Cooler temps brings us inside looking for more comfort foods and warm bowls of yummy food to keep us toasty all winter

Morning snacks 

fruit, toast, cereal, bagels, muffins, homemade breakfast bars, yogurt, smoothies, pancakes, waffles, French toast

Lunch

Sandwiches, wraps, rice bowls, veggie dogs, mini burgers, quesadillas, kid-cuterie boards, pastas, crockpot dishes, casseroles, chicken tenders, meatballs, Pancakes, pizza waffles, egg bakes, omelettes

Most meats are cooked in the crockpot as they come out more tender and easier for little ones to chew.

Afternoon snacks 

crackers and cheese, fruit, veggies with hummus, homemade Cookies, apple sauce, pudding, granola, rasinsins and dried fruit, homage loafs and breads 

Birthdays and holidays 

You are welcome to bring in cupcakes or any other treat of your choice to celebrate your child's birthday. Additionally, if there is a holiday that your family is celebrating and you would like to share some food from home, you are more than welcome to do so.
